Jimmy Lim uses the San Francisco 49 Mile Scenic Drive to illustrate that this journey is similar to living the Christian Life. It is comprised of twists and turns, unexpected and surprising things to see and unknown to the person traveling. The explorer driving this road could be a thrill seeker, someone who is ready for anything. This person is not rushed and wants to see and enjoy as much as he can on this drive. Christian life parallels this idea of traveling this journey he/she does not know what is around the bend and will be faced with surprises both good and bad, joyful and sad. The Christian journey is a life with God . Every move and decision that’s made is done with God in mind. God is leading us through the journey. And it’s important to note that the Christian life will be faced with good or bad, but it’s knowing how to respond in challenging situations is how we become more like God. So spend time with your Christian friends/family . Spend time

Here are is a brief summary of The Sunday Gathering~ Thank you George Lai! He led the group with scripture from Romans 12:1-2 He told us that he and James Chuck have had discussions about this verse many times and that this verse easily “sums” up the first 11 chapters of the Bible. He also mentioned the verse is very timely for our Church because we are welcoming change and a new Senior Pastor. He broke it down in 2 very important sentences: “I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God , which is spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what it’s he will of God— what is good and acceptable and perfect.           Trust God, he has a plan for us, he knows what is best for us, we should joyfully give               Ourselves as living sacrifices for his service. Thank you Shirlene! She l
