Victor Low takes the podium again to wrap up Father's Day.

He says every family has a script that's unspeakable. Victor says we all have skeletons in our life. But people don't talk about it.

Once Victor and Melanie learned they could not have children, they decided to adopt a couple of their own children. He tells us their daughter Tessi followed her path and stayed on track. Their younger son Terry struggled along the way. Although bright and musically talented, Terry found his life troubling.  When Victor and Melanie told them they were adopted, Tessi remained positive about the news when she later found her parents. She felt so much gratitude for Melanie, Victor and Terry after her serach.

Terry also searched for his parents and hoped he would find joy if he found them. Unfortunately when he located his birth mother, she chose not to continue their relationship since she began a new family.

Terry and Tessi were close and he relied on her. But she eventually left to go to school and to follow her career.

Victor turns to Ephesians to help him through his journey as a Father.

Ephesians 6:1-4

"Father's do not exasperate your children;  Don't aggravate them".

Victor reminds us, when we feel anger, it's best not to say anything. You can never take it back. It's done.

Think about how you relate to your children.

You influence them and hold more power than you may know.

Last, the Lord has blessed us with another "5 minutes with George":

Matthew 6:25-34 (NRSV)

George wanted to share this verse because it held a lot of meaning when he was a young lad and it has become part of his life and he wants it to become important in our lives as well. He is most fond of the King James version which is the version he learned when he was young.

"Strive first for the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well."
